Trisha Yearwood Celebrates Her 59th Birthday – Read Her Husband Garth Brooks’ Affectionate Message

Country music singer Trisha Yearwood celebrates her 59th birthday today (September 19). The singer and Trisha’s Southern Kitchen host was on TV the night before as one of the performers on the ACM Honors.

The ACM Honors were filmed in August and aired in a televised special on FOX on Monday (September 18). Yearwood performed in tribute to Mary Chapin Carpenter, who was one of three recipients of the ACMs Poet’s Award.

Carpenter actually co-wrote one of Yearwood’s earliest songs,”Where Are You Now.” But during the ACM Honors, Yearwood chose to perform Carpenters “This Shirt,” which she described as one of her favorite songs of hers.

The same day as the ACM Honors, Yearwood’s husband Garth Brooks hosted his weekly Inside Studio G session on Facebook. He spent a lot of time gushing about her during the session! At one point while watching a clip from the ACM Honors, he said he thinks “she looks more beautiful than she ever has.”

Brooks also attempted to make Yearwood a chocolate cake. He was worried about how it turned out, since Yearwood is the baker in the family, after all. Yearwood emerged shortly after that with the cake, and said she was “very impressed” with the result.

It was extra impressive to her because it was the first time he EVER baked her a cake for her birthday. So she was touched, to say the least.

Brooks later shared a causal photo of him and Yearwood posing with her chocolate cake. He wrote a short, but sweet birthday message for her, saying, “All hail the Queen!!!! love, g.”
