Faith Hill Finally Wins Award For Role In “1883”

Country music fans were thrilled when it was announced that Tim McGraw and Faith Hill were starring in the Yellowstone prequel series 1883. The couple played James and Margaret Dutton, the patriarch and matriarch of the Duttons.
1883 followed James, Margaret, and their two children as they journeyed across the American West. They experienced a lot of trials and loss along the way, including the death of their daughter, Elsa.
Fans praised Faith’s powerful performance in the series. She participated in some of the most impactful and emotional scenes, and pulled off each one flawlessly.

Despite its acclaim, many awards shows have not recognized 1883 and its cast. The series did receive three Emmy nominations, two of which were for outstanding cinematography. The other nomination was for outstanding music composition for a limited or anthology series.
Just recently, Sam Elliott won a Screen Actors Guild Award for playing Shea Brennan in the series.

Now, Faith’s portrayal of Margaret has finally been recognized at an awards show as well.
Faith was happy to share the news on Thursday (March 30) that she won a Gracie Award for Actress in a Supporting Role – Limited Series [TV – National]. The award is presented by the Alliance for Women in Media Foundation.
“Thank you to Alliance for Women in Media for this honor!” Faith wrote in the post announcing her win. Fans were quick to congratulate her in the comments.
“Congratulations, Faith!! Your performance certainly deserves the recognition. You were great!!” said one follower.
Another fan wrote, “Congratulations Faith, you were exceptional and deserve to be recognized for your outstanding performance!”
“You deserve it so much. You were absolutely wonderful in that role. You are very talented. Congratulations Faith, you are the greatest,” said someone else.
One fan said, “Congratulations! You definitely deserve this because you were amazing as Margaret Dutton.”
“Congratulations Faith, great job in acting in 1883. Both you and your husband were convincing. Thank you,” another follower wrote.
