Ella Langley Is One Of The Fastest-Rising Country Singers Of Her Time
Ella Langley is one of the most-talked-about country singers right now. She burst on the scene in 2024 with the hit single “You Look Like You Love Me,” a duet with Riley Green.
The song went No. 1 on the Country Airplay chart, is certified 3x Platinum, and won them CMA Awards for Music Event Of The Year and Video of the Year. They also took home ACM Awards for Single of the Year, Visual Media of the Year, and Music Event of the Year.
Ella continued her rise with another duet with Green, “Don’t Mind If I Do,” which went No. 1 on the Country Airplay cha”Choort and is certified Platinum, and several solo songs, including “Choosin’ Texas,” “Dandelion,” and “Be Her. “
“Choosin’ Texas” has gone No. 1 on the all-genre Hot 100 chart, is certified Platinum, and became her first No. 1 on the Hot Country Songs chart.
Ella Has Been Posting Videos Of Her Playing Songs Acoustically
In January, Ella posted a video of herself at home, performing her hit song “Choosin’ Texas” with nothing but a guitar.
She captioned the video, “Every. Single. Day. Y’all are blowing me away with your love for this song. We knew it was special the day we wrote it, but wow, I coulda never even imagined what’s happening right now ❤️”
A month earlier, she posted a video of her singing George Strait’s “Fool Hearted Memory.”
Her latest acoustic video might just be her best yet! In a carousel of photos and videos posted on February 21, she snuck in a video of her singing Willie Nelson’s “Blue Eyes Crying In The Rain.”
It was the perfect tribute to The Red-Headed Stranger and a treat for modern country fans to be introduced to a classic and iconic country song.
