Interested bidders can make any offer to Sotheby’s Concierge Auctions beginning today, December 7th, through December 14th when a live auction webcast is scheduled to take place. Duffy’s listing broker, Alan DeVries, said:

“This is a rare opportunity to own a piece of Oregon-coveted Rogue Valley. With nearly two miles of river frontage and the ability to subdivide, the opportunities are endless.”

The Duffy Ranch is the largest, most significant listing along the river.

The 329-acre estate boasts seven total homes situated among natural features and beautiful scenery. The 3,000 sq. ft. 1950s lodge-style main house has a river-stone fireplace, knotty pine walls under exposed beam ceilings, and an enclosed sunroom facing the water.

Duffy purchased the homestead in 1990 and since then has added a wing to the house with a high-ceilinged art gallery and a primary suite. There is also a walkway to a wine cave and spa cabin as well as a detached pool building.

The property includes more than 100 acres of irrigated grounds, two miles of river-frontage, a two-acre pond for irrigation and recreation, and even a 15-acre island in the Rogue River. It is situated across the river from a 352-acre preserve that cannot be developed, making the property a “true generational sanctuary.”

In a real estate video, Duffy takes viewers for a tour of the property, highlighting some of his favorite features. He shows an antique wood-fired kitchen range made in South Bend, Indiana, which he removed from the original dilapidated house and restored.

Duffy concludes:

“There are several different worlds on this property. It just needs another set of ears, and another heart to come in and they’ll understand it.”
