Morgan Wallen Brings Out Brooks & Dunn For Surprise Performance Of “Neon Moon”
Morgan Wallen had a few surprises up his sleeve during his recent show in Kansas City, Missouri, and one of those surprises was a collaboration with Brooks & Dunn!
Wallen, who is currently on his One Night At a Time Tour, performed at Arrowhead Stadium in Kansas City on Thursday (August 1). He surprised the crowd with not one, but two collaborations, at one point inviting Lainey Wilson to join him in singing “Lies Lies Lies.”
But his first surprise of the night came when he started the show with Kix Brooks and Ronnie Dunn of Brooks & Dunn. The legendary country music duo joined Wallen during his walkout performance to “Broadway Girls.”
Wallen shared a video on TikTok that shows Brooks & Dunn meeting up with him behind the scenes before they walked out onstage together to the roar of the crowd.

Needless to say, everyone was thrilled to see Brooks & Dunn, since their appearance was completely unexpected! But the night got even better as it went on.

After that epic entrance, Wallen joined Brooks & Dunn in singing their iconic #1 song from 1992, “Neon Moon.” This wasn’t Ronnie Dunn’s first time performing the song with Wallen, either.
Dunn previously joined Wallen to sing “Neon Moon” during his Nashville stop on his Dangerous Tour a few years ago. They also performed “Talkin’ Tennessee” during that show.
This time, Kix Brooks got the chance to join Dunn and Wallen in singing “Neon Moon” in Missouri.
“Last night was a dream,” wrote one attendee, named Kristy, on TikTok. “I still can’t believe I witnessed this with my own eyes.”
Kristy also shared a video of Wallen singing “Neon Moon” with Brooks & Dunn, which you can watch below. It was a once-in-a-lifetime performance those Kansas City fans won’t forget any time soon!
