Folks, the day you’ve been waiting for has finally arrived!
Since 2016, country legend Willie Nelson has headlined a festival that changed the game. He didn’t go around the country with one or two openers, he traveled around the country with MANY. Festivals are extremely popular these days, so Nelson put together an Outlaw Music Festival, but it wasn’t like all the other ones.
Instead of just one or two days of music at one venue, Nelson took his festival on the road so as many outlaw fans would be able to attend as possible. Actually, the inaugural festival was one day only in Scranton, Pennsylvania, but it went so well that in 2017, they took it on tour.
2018’s tour consisted of 18 dates and included some incredible performers including Brandi Carlile, Alison Krauss, Delta Rae, Edie Brickell & New Bohemians, Greensky Bluegrass, JD McPherson, Lukas Nelson, Margo Price, Neil Young and Promise of the Real, Old Crow Medicine Show, and many more.
This year promises to be better than ever, with a some of the usual suspects returning to the tour, as well some newbies that all outlaw country music fans will enjoy. The tour kicks off in Bangor, Maine on June 14th and wraps up on July 3rd in Dallas, Texas.
