The Two Country Stars Were Beaming After Their Playful Race
Randy Travis and Clay Walker “raced” over the weekend, bringing a smile to viewers everywhere.
Both country music superstars have faced health issues that have left them mostly reliant on wheelchairs.
Randy Travis suffered a devastating stroke in 2013 that left him mostly paralyzed. He lost his ability to speak and most of his mobility.
Clay Walker was diagnosed with MS (Multiple Sclerosis), which is a disease that affects the central nervous system and can lead to mobility issues.
The pair really made the most of their situation with a hilarious race as their friends pushed them down the hotel’s aisle. The race was neck and neck but ended in a tie.
After the pair ended their race, they all laughed and gave each other a fist bump. It was clear that Travis was having a blast and had the biggest smile on his face throughout the whole race.

Travis and Walker both credit their Christian faith in their healing journeys.
Travis has even been able to speak sparingly through therapy, hard work, and his faith. He once said,
“Never forget this is a God given gift and that you owe it all to the Lord. Keep that in mind always.”
He said this quote prior to his stroke, but then reposted the video in 2024, showing he still believes every word. Watch below.
Clay Walker’s devotion to Christ amid illness was shown in his 2003 song, “A Few Questions.” In the song he shared the current questions that he had for God. He asked questions like,
“How in this worldCan we put a man on the moonAnd still have a needFor a place like St. Judes.”
To which he answered his own questions with the chorus,
“I wasn’t there the day you filled up the oceanI didn’t get to see you hang the stars in the skySo I don’t mean to second guess youOr criticize what I don’t understandThese are just a few questions I have.”
