Carly Pearce won the ACM’s Female Artist of the Year award in 2022. She followed in the footsteps of other superstar female artists such as Miranda Lambert, Carrie Underwood, Martina McBride, Reba McEntire, and Loretta Lynn.
Another past recipient of the ACM’s Female Artist of the Year award is Trisha Yearwood. She received the trophy in 1998.
This year (2023) is the 25th anniversary of Yearwood’s win. To celebrate, she returned to the ACM Awards to perform with Pearce.
“I’m so excited to share the @acmawards stage with my friend @carlypearce!” Yearwood said when sharing the news of the collaboration on social media. “I couldn’t think of a better way to celebrate the 25th Anniversary of my Female Artist of the Year win than with the reigning queen!”
