Artificial Intelligence Posts On Social Media Have Gotten Out Of Control

Recently, the amount of fake Artificial Intelligence posts on social media has grown exponentially. So much so that a lot of folks don’t know what’s real and what isn’t anymore. Many celebrities have had to make statements to their fans to not believe anything they see online unless it is from their own account.

Darius Rucker released a statement on October 15th saying, “If you think you’ve been messaging or chatting with me, my team, or my family… you haven’t. It’s not me. These are professional scammers pretending to be me to take advantage of you financially….Please do not communicate with any of these fake profiles.”

On October 20th, Brooks & Dunn also released a statement on social media.

“The Internet’s gotten pretty wild lately, seems like ‘AI’ can make anybody say or do just about anything these days,” they wrote. “We’re working non-stop to eliminate the problem, but the sheer volume is overwhelming. Unfortunately, we can’t control it all. Welcome to the era of ungoverned, AI-generated falsehoods.”

Even Dolly Parton had to address the AI rumors made about her. She recently postponed her Las Vegas performances due to some health issues, and the Internet ran wild with rumors that she’s worse off than she really is.

In a video posted to her social media accounts on October 8th, Dolly said, “I’m not dying! There’s just a lot of rumors flying around. But I figured if you heard it from me, you’d know that I was okay. I ain’t done yet…I don’t think God is through with me, and I ain’t done working’.”

Now, Reba McEntire Has To Address AI Rumors

There’s plenty more where that post came from.

In response to Parton’s post addressing her health, Reba sent her some love, but also addressed the AI pregnancy stories that have been floating around.

“You tell ’em, Dolly! That AI mess has got us doing all kind of crazy things. You’re out there dying, I’m out here having a baby. Well both os us know you’re too young and I’m too old for any of that kind of nonsense!”

McEntire added how much she loves Dolly and that she will keep her in her prayers.

She captioned the post, “Too young to die, too old for babies.”
