Reba And Brooks & Dunn’s First Collaboration

Reba McEntire has worked with Kix Brooks and Ronnie Dunn of Brooks & Dunn for many years. The trio released their first collaboration, “If You See Him, If You See Her” in 1998.

The song reached the #1 spot on the Hot Country Songs chart and also topped the country chart in Canada. It was nominated for Best Country Collaboration with Vocals at the 1999 Grammy Awards.

Continuing To Work Together Through The Years

McEntire has continued to work with Brooks & Dunn over the years. Their second collaboration, “Cowgirls Don’t Cry,” was released in 2008.

The trio also had a longstanding residency at Cesars Palace in Las Vegas.

Now, McEntire and Brooks & Dunn are back with a new version of the song that started it all for them. That’s right, they’ve released a new version of “If You See Him, If You See Her.”

To celebrate the 25th anniversary of the song’s release, McEntire and Brooks & Dunn dropped a new version of “If You See Him, If You See Her” on April 27. While promoting the new rendition on Instagram, McEntire said:

“We got together and decided to release an acoustic version of “If You See Him, If You See Her” in celebration of the song’s 25th anniversary!”

This new version of “If You See Him, If You See Her” differs from the original because it features acoustic instrumentation. It gives the recording a whole new sound y’all are sure to enjoy.
