Priscilla Presley Opens Up About Her Biological Father, Who Died In Active Duty

On Memorial Day (May 27), Priscilla Presley introduced the internet to her biological father, Jim Wagner.
James (Jim) Wagner was a Navy pilot originally from Pennsylvania. He passed away tragically in November 1945 at the age of 24 when Priscilla was just five months old. According to his obituary, Wagner was killed in a plane crash that involved a single-engine Naval training plane near the New York/Connecticut border.
Priscilla’s mother, Anna Lillian Iverson, married Paul Beaulieu a few years later, and he became the father figure in Priscilla’s life.
Priscilla Presley shares heartwarming details about her birth father
In a video shared across social media, Priscilla held a black and white framed photo of her father and, along with it, wrote:
“Memorial Day we honor and thank those that have lost their lives serving our country. Today I want to introduce you to my biological father.”
She says that her mother has often shared with her how handsome and wonderful her father was. She continues that one of the things that people loved about Wagner was his habit of cheerfully whistling everywhere he went. She adds. “he always had a smile on his face.”

Over the holiday weekend, Priscilla also celebrated her 79th birthday with her family.
Priscilla’s son, Navarone, planned a surprise birthday celebration for his mother at one of her favorite restaurants, Carmine’s, in Beverly Hills, California. The guest of honor shared a slideshow of photos of her and her party guests, which included her granddaughters Riley Keough, Harper Lockwood, and Finley Lockwood. Watch it below!
