Alan Jackson’s Daughter Mattie Marries After Previous Heartbreak & Loss
Alan Jackson‘s eldest daughter, Mattie, married Connor Smith in West Palm Beach, Florida on May 12.
The marriage came four years after the death of Mattie’s first husband, Ben Selecman. He died following an accident in 2018…just one month shy of his and Mattie’s first anniversary.
Mattie relied on her faith as she tried to navigate through life as a young widow. She always remained hopeful she’d find it in her heart to fall in love again.
Connor was the person who opened her heart to love fully once more.

We’ve seen a few photos from Mattie and Connor’s gorgeous beachside wedding since they said “I do” in May. Alan himself shared a sweet photo of his entire family all dressed up for the ceremony.
The picture even features Alan’s infant grandson, Jackson, who is his daughter Ali’s son.

Mattie Jackson Shares New Photos From Her Wedding Day
Mattie and Connor’s wedding photographer was Kristyn Hogan. Kristyn also photographed Ali’s marriage to Sam Bradshaw in 2020.
Much to her followers’ delight, Mattie had a bunch of new wedding photos to share on Wednesday (July 12). She started off sharing some of her favorite horizontal images.
“Just a tiny peak at the magic that was May 12…Lotta fun & lotta kisses,” she captioned the snapshots.
She then followed up by sharing some of her favorite vertical images too. We love all of the pictures of her and Connor, of course. But our hearts melt every time we see a photo of Mattie with Alan on her wedding day!
