Martina McBride Announces Daughter Delaney’s Engagement

Martina McBride and her husband, John, share three daughters: Delaney, Emma, and Ava. Delaney is their eldest, and she just celebrated her 28th birthday on December 22.
“Happy Birthday Delaney!” Martina wrote in a post on social media. “It’s hard to believe 28 years ago we brought you home with us on Christmas Eve.”
Martina continued:
“My life has been blessed by you ever since. You are a beautiful soul. I am so proud of you and the life you are building. Thank you for being my Insta DM comrade, for sending me videos of you dancing because you know it will make me happy, and for just being you. I love you.”
She shared a slideshow containing photos of Delaney through the years.

Not long after her daughter’s birthday, Martina shared some more celebratory news. Delaney is engaged!
“Remember that little girl with the curly hair I posted for her birthday on the 22nd? Yeah. Well that little girl got ENGAGED yesterday!!” Martina shared. She posted some photos from Delaney’s engagement day, including a closeup photo of her ring.
“Such a happy happy day. [Delaney’s new fiancé] Cole asked John and me for our blessing so we all knew it was happening and planned a pretty brunch,” Martina detailed. “The whole day those two were on Cloud 9. Us too. These two sweet souls found each other and are so strong together. We love Cole and welcome him to the McBride family. So happy for them both.”
