Kenny Rogers’ Family Honors Him 1 Year After His Death

Country music legend, Kenny Rogers, passed away in March 2020 of natural causes. Now, one year later, his family is still honoring Rogers’ legacy.

In a joint statement on Instagram, the Rogers family and business team marked the first anniversary in a heartfelt message to fans. In the caption, they stated:

“It’s so hard to believe it’s been a year since Kenny left us. As you can imagine, some days are better than others, so we wholeheartedly thank you for your thoughts, prayers and support over the last year. It means so much to us. The memories of Kenny and the kind words you’ve shared have inspired and uplifted us…brought tears to our eyes and made us laugh.”

Wanda Miller Rogers also posted a sweet tribute to her late husband on her personal Instagram. She shared a photo of Rogers with their twin sons as small children. In the second photo, Wanda shared a deeply personal image of the teenagers at their father’s funeral. In the caption, Wanda wrote:

“A year ago.. our lives changed forever… but as KR always said..”you’re never gone until you’re forgotten”.. [heart emoji] we will always love you.”
