Earlier this summer, Reba McEntire’s NBC sitcom Happy’s Place started filming its second season.

The first season was a huge hit, with many people excited to see McEntire back on TV almost 20 years after her original namesake sitcom.

Even though Happy’s Place has a completely different storyline and cast, the “Fancy” singer made sure to include little nods to her old show througout the season. That includes several reunions across multiple episodes.

Fans of Happy’s Place know that Melissa Peterman, who played Barbara Jean on Reba, is one of the main characters in the new show. She now plays a bartender and close friend of McEntire’s character, Bobbie.

But that wasn’t all. Other familiar faces appeared as special guests, including Christopher Rich, who originally played Brock Hart on the early 2000s show. On Happy’s Place, Rich portrayed a tattoo artist named Maverick.

McEntire also reunited with her former TV son-in-law, Steve Howey in an episode.

Now that viewers have seen several of McEntire’s former cast members, people are hoping that the rest of the actors will make a cameo in Season 2. But will they be up for it?

JoAnna Garcia Swisher, who played McEntire’s on-screen daughter, Cheyanne, says she definitely is!

In an interview with Parade, the 46-year-old actress revealed that if the chance came up, she would definitely do it.

“If they were to ask me to do it, I would 100 percent be there and I would move mountains to do it,” she said.

But, Swisher has been in the business for a long time, and she knows things like this can take time since they would need to create a character that fits naturally into the show.

“Obviously they’re making a television show,” so any character they could offer her would have to “work for the story and all of those moments,” she added.

Viewers will just have to wait and see if Swisher gets offered the right part.

Season 2 of Happy’s Place will premiere on Friday, November 7 on NBC.
