Jelly Roll Has Performed With Many Artists – But He’s Still Waiting To Sing With His Dream Duet Partner
While Jelly Roll has already collaborated with many of country music’s biggest stars, he has yet to sing with his dream duet partner.
Jelly Roll isn’t new to the music industry. He started off as a hip-hop artist and rapper in the early 2000s. His first country single, “Son of a Sinner,” was released in 2022. The song became a #1 hit on Billboard’s Country Airplay chart.
After “Son of a Sinner” took off, Jelly Roll dove deeper into the country music scene. He released his first full-length country album, Whitsitt Chapel, in 2023. The album contains the #1 hit singles “Halfway to Hell,” “Need a Favor,” and “Save Me.”
The latter song, which is a duet with Lainey Wilson, was nominated for a Grammy Award.

In addition to Wilson, Jelly Roll has collaborated with artists such as Brantley Gilbert, Cody Johnson, and Craig Morgan. But he’s still waiting to work with his dream duet partner.
Which ’90s Country Megastar Is Jelly Roll’s Dream Collaborator?
During a recent interview with Good Morning America, Jelly Roll revealed the names of some artists he wants to work with one day. He told the outlet he’d love to sing with Miley Cyrus or James Taylor.
But his biggest dream duet partner happens to be a ’90s country superstar. Who is it? Garth Brooks!
“I still wanna record a song with Garth Brooks,” Jelly Roll said. “I’m still campaigning, like, don’t let my career end without me and Garth getting one in. Even if we just sung one together in a show, like, just anything with Garth, you know what I mean?”
He added, “Garth, we know each other. I love you.”

Jelly Roll got the chance to meet his musical hero at the 2023 ACM Awards. Brooks was one of the ceremony’s co-hosts, while Jelly Roll was one of the performers.
He was so excited to meet the “Friends in Low Places” singer that he picked him up off the ground when they hugged! The heartwarming moment was captured in a video Jelly Roll shared on TikTok.
