Gary Allan Shares News Of His Mother’s Death – “We Will Miss You Dearly”
On Monday (August 25), Gary Allan‘s team announced that his beloved mother, Mary Herzberg, passed away the previous day (August 24).
Gary’s father, Harley Herzberg, died 17 years prior, in 2008. At the time of his passing, he and Mary had been married for 51 years.
In addition to being a wonderful mother, Mary was her son’s “biggest fan” and served as the original president of his fan club. Gary’s team recalls how Mary “championed him not only in his career but also in every part of his life.”
Gary’s mother always made it clear how proud she was of her son and his accomplishments. “Her warmth, encouragement, and unwavering spirit touched all who knew her,” Gary’s team said.
Gary’s team ended their statement with a prayer request. They asked everyone to please keep him, his siblings, and their whole family in their prayers as they mourn the loss of their “Mama Mary.”
Gary Allan’s fans were quick to send their condolences to the singer following the loss of his mother. He received thousands of supportive messages on his Facebook post.
