In April, Sara Evans Announced She Was Going To Be A Grandma
Country singer Sara Evans revealed to her social media followers that her daughter, Audrey, was pregnant with her first child with boyfriend John Headly back in April.
The couple announced the exciting news on TikTok, saying, “A BABY! How blessed are we. Welcoming our tiny angel this October … we’re so excited to meet you.. thank you Jesus!”
Evans reposted the video on her own social media accounts and wrote, ““I’m so in love. God is so amazing! We cannot WAIT to meet this sweet angel!”

Sara Celebrated Her Daughter’s Gender Reveal Party
At the beginning of June, Audrey and John had a gender reveal party for their baby. Sara was in charge of carrying the gender reveal cake, which she did successfully even though she thought she would drop it!
She also revealed that she and her husband, Jay Barker, would be called “Sasa and Papa.”
The Baby Was Born On September 29
Audrey announced the birth of her baby boy on Monday (September 29) on Instagram, writing, “welcome to the world our perfect angel.”
She revealed the baby boy’s name is John Evans Headley and weighed seven pounds, four ounces.
Proud grandma Sara Evans commented, “Cannot stop crying! Life changing! He is the cutest baby ever and I love you so much Audrey and John! Praise God!”
She also shared her own photos of meeting John, writing, “Meet our grandson! We are so blessed! we are so thrilled for you and proud of you! I can’t even put this into words! Granny and Grandaddy! We are obsessed! He is the most beautiful baby! Praise God!!!!!!!”
It’s safe to safe Sasa and Papa are out, and Granny and Granddaddy are in!
Sara shared a follow up post on September 30, gushing, “Second day as Granny and it was even better than the first! He is the sweetest, most beautiful baby boy! Grandaddy took all the pics! Haha! God is great!”
Baby John is so sweet, and so lucky to have a loving “Granny” like Sara!
