Those who attended Bruce Springsteen’s recent concert in Austin, Texas, were in for quite the treat. An iconic Texan made a surprise appearance to introduce Springsteen to the crowd and give him a warm welcome.

That Texas icon was none other than “The King of Country” himself, George Strait.

Springsteen was performing with the E Street Band at the fairly new Moody Center in Austin. Strait actually helped open the Moody Center in April of last year.

The crowd roared with excitement as Strait made his way onstage. He shook Springsteen’s hand and gave him a hug before he stepped up to the microphone.

Austin, Texas!” Strait said. “It’s my honor tonight to introduce to you a man that really needs no introduction, right? Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band!

The two music legends shared another hug before Strait waved goodbye to the crowd and departed.

Strait unfortunately did not perform with Springsteen. But it was still so cool to see them share the stage!

One attendee managed to film Strait’s surprise appearance during Springsteen’s show. They shared the video on Twitter, and you can watch it below.

This must have been so neat to see live!
