America’s favorite sitcom handyman star Tim Allen and his longtime co-star and friend Richard Karn have teamed up with History Channel for a brand new show that takes some pages from their previous project Home Improvement.
Allen and Karn starred side-by-side in ABC’s hit sitcom about an all-American dad who loves power tools, cars, and sports – and runs a local television show about home repair, remodeling, and DIY hacks. From 1991 to 1999, they were one of the biggest shows on television – and stole the heart of America!
Now, the two have reunited for a show that’s all about showcasing American builders in a competition to rebuild household items. But…there’s a twist! They have to build it back better.
Both Allen and Karn are set to be executive producers for the first 10-episodes and YouTube star April Wilkeson is set to join them for the show.
The series, titled Assembly Required, is set to debut on February 23rd at 10 pm EST – only on History Channel.
