The Reba McEntire-Led Sitcom Happy’s Place Premiered In October 2024

In early 2024, it was announced that Reba McEntire would get her own sitcom again, Happy’s Place! Fans loved the Reba show and have been begging for her to return to television since the show went off in 2001. What’s even better than the “Fancy” singer’s return to TV is that she does it alongside her Reba co-star and longtime friend Melissa Peterman. Also starring is Belissa Escobedo, Pablo Castelblanco, Rex Linn, and Tokala Black Elk.

Happy’s Place centers around Reba’s character, Bobbie, as she navigates losing her father, Happy, and having to take over his bar, Happy’s Place. While going over her father’s will, Bobbie finds out her father was unfaithful to her mother and fathered a much younger daughter, Isabella, played by Escobedo. Isabella decides to stick around to get to know her sister and because Happy left both her and Bobbie the bar.

They navigate their newfound relationship as sisters and business partners with the help of the Happy’s Place employees including cook Emmet (Linn), accountant Steve (Castelblanco), server Takoda (Black Elk), and bartendar Gabby (Peterman).

The series premiered on October 18, 2024, which had over 10 million cross-platform viewers! A few weeks later, the show was given additional script orders from NBC, making their first season episode total be 13. Just days after that, the network ordered five more episodes, totaling at 18.

Happy’s Place Is The Place For Reba Reunions

Since the sitcom was ordered, fans have been begging for Reba actors to appear on the show. They were elated when Steve Howey (Van in Reba) was the first Reba cast mate to make a guest appearance on Happy’s Place.
