“Well, I never know what’s next. I always say that I wake up with new dreams every day. People that work around me say, ‘Yeah, I know. Your dreams are about to kill us,’ so that’s pretty much how they feel.”

In an interview with USA Today, Dolly says the production has been a dream of hers for years and it was just about to be ready when COVID hit and Broadway shut down.

“There’s a few things I still want to do. I want to have a line of cosmetics and I want to have a line of wigs. I want to do more movies.”
