Dolly Parton first hosted the ACM Awards solo in 2000. She returned to host the ceremony again in 2022 with Jimmie Allen and Gabby Barrett as her co-hosts.

Now, Parton is back to host the ACM Awards for the second year in a row! The ACM just announced on Wednesday morning (March 29) that she is serving as one of the ceremony’s hosts.

Allen and Barrett are not returning to host the ACM Awards this year. That means Parton has a new co-host…and the ACM announced who they are as well.

Billboard exclusively revealed that Parton will host the 2023 ACM Awards alongside…Garth Brooks!

Brooks has never hosted the ACM Awards before. But he’ll have Parton to show him the ropes, and he’s excited to work with her to make the show the best it can be.

“I mean, you’ve got your foundation and what you’re looking for here,” Brooks said about his co-host. “You’ve got talent and class. Let’s represent country music the best that we can.”

Parton is also looking forward to co-hosting the ceremony with Brooks. They’ve been talking about doing something together for a long time, and now they finally have the chance.

“We’ve always admired each other musically and as people and how we handle our business,” she said. “So this is a great thrill for me. I think the fans are going to enjoy seeing us together, ‘cause Lord knows he’s got fans and I got a few.”

Knowing these two, we have a feeling they’ll be awesome co-hosts!

The 2023 ACM Awards will be on Thursday, May 11. Fans will be able to stream the ceremony on Amazon’s Prime Video service. Stay tuned for more announcements about the ceremony in the coming weeks!
