Less than 24 hours later, she went a few steps further than just thanking these heroes.

She revealed in a statement that she will be donating $1 million towards research at Vanderbilt, where they are trying to find a cure for COVID-19.

The statement reads, “My longtime friend Dr. Naji Abumrad, who’s been involved in research at Vanderbilt for many years, informed me that they were making some exciting advancements towards research of the coronavirus for a cure. I am making a donation of $1 million to Vanderbilt towards that research and to encourage people that can afford it to make donations.

Many celebrities commented, calling her an “angel,” with some fans even calling for her to run for president.
