As the world struggles through an ongoing pandemic, musicians everywhere are using their gifts and talents to bring people together while adhering to social distancing. The latest is Brennley Brown, who performed a beautiful a cappella rendition of “God Bless America” from her balcony in Huntington Beach, California. The young artist started performing here for her neighbors and in a Facebook post explained to her followers,

“This balcony serves as a place where we can all forget about the uncertainty for just a bit. Music heals. God is with us…I thank God for any and all comfort this brings my neighborhood. Don’t lose hope.”

Brennley is taking on the country music scene by storm using her angelic vocals to captivate audiences. Don’t be fooled by her age though, the 18-year-old has been singing and performing since she was in the single digits. Among her accomplishments, she made it as one of the top five finalists for NBC’s show, The Voice. Her latest single “One More Hallelujah” was just released in early February.

During an interview with CMT, Brennley had this to say about her song,

“The message of this song is one of inspiration and healing in the midst of life’s most challenging hardships. My prayer for this video, is that it resonates with each and every person that watches it and affords them hope, inspiration, and encouragement. We are not isolated in our brokenness and pain.”

People everywhere can appreciate the message of hope that she spreads through her music during these difficult times. For those who haven’t seen the video yet, be sure to watch it below.
