Reba’s Only Son Turns 32 – Read Her Birthday Wish For Him

Reba McEntire played a mother of three on her popular sitcom, Reba. But in real life, Reba has just one child, son Shelby Blackstock.

Shelby’s father is Reba’s ex-husband, Narvel Blackstock. Narvel had two daughters and a son from his previous marriage, with his son being Brandon Blackstock. Brandon was married to Kelly Clarkson, but they split in 2020.

So although Shelby is Reba’s only biological child, she was a stepmother to Brandon and his sisters for many years.

Shelby was born on February 23, 1990…which means he just celebrated his birthday! He turned 32 years old.

Mama Reba took to Facebook to wish her son a happy birthday. She shared a sweet and simple birthday message for him, writing, “Happy Birthday, Shelby!!!! Love, Mom.”

Reba paired her birthday wish with a photo of Shelby snuggling his adorable dog, Watson.

Shelby’s 32nd birthday came during an already exciting month for the race car driver. He married his longtime love, Marissa Branch, in Walt Disney World’s Magic Kingdom on February 12.

The couple had a beautiful wedding in front of Magic Kingdom’s Cinderella Castle. Later, Shelby and Reba danced to her song “You’re Gonna Be (Always Loved by Me).” Reba released the song in 2005 when Shelby was a teenager.
