Olivia Newton-John’s Husband Remembers Her On Her Birthday: “Happy Birthday Honey – I Love You”

Actress and singer Olivia Newton-John died on August 8, 2022 at the age of 73. Her husband, John Easterling, remembered her in a touching tribute:
“Our love for each other transcends our understanding,” Easterling said. “Every day we expressed our gratitude for this love that could be so deep, so real, so natural. We never had to ‘work’ on it. We were in awe of this great mystery and accepted the experience of our love as past, present and forever.”
Easterling continued:
“Even now as her soul soars, the pain and holes in my heart are healed with the joy of her love and the light that shines forward.”

Monday (September 26) would have been Newton-John’s 74th birthday. Easterling remembered his late wife in a touching post, in which he shared one of his favorite memories of her from a past birthday.
That birthday, the couple spent a week adventuring in the Out Islands of the Bahamas. Easterling said they were out on their boat when the conditions got rough and there was zero visibility.
But the storm disappeared as fast as it came, and the sun came back out. The seas returned to their typical turquoise color and a rainbow formed in the sky:
“…and that’s when the dolphins started jumping at the bow of the boat leading us under the rainbow,” Easterling recalled. “Olivia looked at me like I was a superhero and I knew it was mostly blind faith and dumb luck. As the dolphins led us over the gorgeous aqua water, under the rainbow towards the lighthouse, we both recognized the fingerprints of the supernatural were all over this – and that’s the way we lived our life. Every day with Olivia there was a hint of magic and everyday day with Olivia was a bit of the supernatural. Happy Birthday Honey – I Love You!”
