Country Singer Ned LeDoux Drops New Single, Following Up A Duet Between Him And His Father, The Late Chris LeDoux
In December, Ned LeDoux released the song “One Hand In The Riggin’,” a previously unreleased duet with his father, country singer and rodeo legend Chris LeDeoux.

Chris LeDoux passed away on March 9, 2005, at the age of 56 from cancer. Although his life was cut short, his legacy has lived on in both worlds: rodeo and country music. Ned is one of the reasons Chris’s legacy has stayed alive. Ned honors his dad in his music in many ways, including the song “One Hand On The Riggin’,” which uses vocals Chris recorded about 20 years ago.
He also recently starred in the first music video for his dad’s iconic song, “This Cowboy’s Hat,” a song that was released over 33 years ago.

Ned LeDoux Releases A Single Titled “Boys Growing Up”
The singer teased the new song on January 29th saying, “I got a brand-new song coming out this Friday! It’s called ‘Boys Growing Up.’ I just love this song; it kind of reminds me of me and my brothers when we were kids. Even though we’re all grown up and we have kids of our own, it seems every time we all get back together, we’re just like kids again.”
Ned was raised alongside three brothers Clay, Will, Beau, and a sister, Cindy.

He also teased a new album, which will be out in April!
Just as Ned promised, the song is a nostalgic nod to his childhood, as well as a look into his life now. In the chorus, he sings,
“Toys gets faster, drinks get stronger
Skin gets thicker and shadows get longer
We’re still fallin’ down, learnin’ how to pick yourself off the ground
You know a man’s gotta be tough
But don’t mind us, we’re just boys growing up”
Don’t we all know a few boys who are still growing up, even as adults?
After releasing “Boys Growing Up,” Ned officially announced his fifth album, Safe Haven, will be available on April 4th. “One Hand On The Riggin'” was the first single released off Ned’s upcoming album, and “Boys Growing Up” is the second.

Safe Haven is named after his daughter, Haven Jo, who tragically lost her life in a choking accident in 2019 when she was just two years old.
