Marie Osmond Debuts Brand-New Hairstyle, Goes Blonde

She made her show business debut at age four and 55 years later is still entertaining us.

Marie Osmond joined her brothers’ singing group, The Osmond Brothers, for a performance on The Andy Williams Show and we’ve been captivated by her talent ever since.

While she wasn’t a member of her family’s singing group, she had a very successful solo career and as a duo with her brother Donny. The sibling duo starred in their very own variety show from 1976-1979 – which began when Marie was just 17 years old!

Donny & Marie went on to host a talk show from 1998-2000 and in 2008, signed on for a six-week residency at the Flamingo Hotel. The show is so popular that it kept getting extended – for 11 years! Just recently, the talented siblings revealed their residency will officially be coming to an end in the fall of 2019.

Their final leg of shows resume in September, and Marie revealed a bible verse that is helping her prepare for it, as she simultaneously begins her tenure as co-host of The Talk.

The bible verse she referenced was Isaiah 40:31, which says, “But they that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint.”

She wrote, “I love this promise especially as I prepare for September… where I will be shooting #TheTalk in the morning in California and fly to Vegas for the show @FlamingoVegas until we end our 11 year run in #LasVegas.”

The entertainer essentially says what this verse means to her is, “It would be so easy to stay in bed and sleep a bit longer, but I have found the day just goes better when I just GET UP.”

She was reminded of this message earlier in the week when she was on a girls trip to Mount Rushmore. She and her friends were looking around at all the cute cabins where they were staying. They were all occupied when a “sweet lady” offered for the group to come check hers out. The woman warned them that her husband was asleep, and asked if Marie would take a photo with him, seeing as he would be very sad if he missed seeing the superstar.

“Now, I’ve taken a lot of photos with people throughout my life but this… oh, it’s definitely the most unique!!! ??? He woke up and still remained in bed ?,” she wrote.

Besides the funny story, we also noticed that Marie debuted a brand-new look, which had fans in the comments section going crazy! The normally brunette singer shocked her fans by wearing a blonde wig, which she confirmed in the comments.

Some fans asked, “When did you go blonde?!” while others, like Andy Cohen said, “Blondes have more fun!”
