John Rich is the latest musician to take a stand against Bud Light.

On Wednesday (April 6), Big & Rich singer John Rich took to Twitter to boycott the big beer brand, saying, “What beer should my bar [Redneck Riviera] in Nashville replace #BudLight with?”

This comes following Travis Tritt announcing that he will be removing any Anheuser-Busch products from his rider, which is a list of requests an artist gives a venue to have for them on show day.

Tritt claims that there are other artists who are deleting Anheuser-Busch from their riders but “might not say so in public for fear of being ridiculed and cancelled.”

Another artist who has no such fear is Kid Rock, who went viral for making his opinion on Bud Light known when he took a gun to several cases of Bud Light.

Their outrage stems from Bud Light partnering with transgender social media influencer Dylan Mulvaney and how they gifted her a can of Bud Light with her face on it celebrating her “365 days of womanhood.”

Dylan also shared a video to her Instagram of her drinking one of the many Bud Lights (without her face on it) that Anheuser-Busch sent to her. Because of this partnership, there was lots of backlash on social media, with John Rich, Travis Tritt, and Kid Rock being the loudest.

It is not a rare for Bud Light to partner with social media influencers, but they’ve never seen backlash like this.
