Jake Owen Partners With Shooter Jennings On New Project
You may know country singer Jake Owen from his feel-good songs including “Barefoot Blue Jean Night” and “Beachin’.” However, the Florida native is showing off a new side of his musicality that has caught the attention of country fans both new and old.
After leaving Big Loud Records, Jake launched his own independent label, Good Company Entertainment, in 2024. Since then, he has teamed up with Shooter Jennings, son of the late Waylon Jennings, to craft his next album.
The pair seem to have found creative synergy, and Jake celebrated Shooter’s birthday by expressing his heartfelt appreciation for their partnership. He wrote:
“I can’t begin to describe how he made a guy like me feel by encouraging me to do what I love and believing in me. Shooter believes in the music. He believes in being real. He walks the walk. I’m proud to know ya and hope you have the best day ever buddy! Thanks for making all this music on these great artists and giving us all something to hold onto forever.”
