Hear Zac Brown Band’s New Song With The Legendary Dolly Parton
Dolly Parton and the Zac Brown Band have united to bring country fans a tender new duet with an inspirational message.
The band said they were “honored” to bring their new song to life with Parton. Titled “Butterfly,” the track soared into the world on Friday (September 5).

“Butterfly” features soul-stirring harmonies and encouraging lyrics destined to touch country fans’ hearts. Brown and Parton both deliver emotional performances, especially once they reach they chorus.
It goes, “Butterfly, you will see / you’re so much stronger than you think you are / You just have to believe / You can fly, mend your wings / Any moment you can free yourself / And fly out of the darkness, butterfly.”
Zac Brown Band and Parton also released the song’s official music video on September 5.
The video opens with the group’s frontman, Zac Brown, playing the piano and singing while Parton rests a supportive hand on his shoulder. Later scenes show them standing together in the center of the room, holding hands and linking arms under the warm glow of the studio lights.
The music video’s simple, intimate setting doesn’t distract from the song. It only enhances it, illustrating the unity between Brown and Parton in sharing their message.

The Zac Brown Band Is Releasing A New Album In December And Kicking Off A Vegas Residency
Dolly Parton and Zac Brown Band’s duet, “Butterfly,” is one of 13 songs included on the band’s upcoming album, Love & Fear. The record will be released on December 5.

Also on December 5, Zac Brown Band will kick off their highly anticipated residency at The Sphere in Las Vegas. A press release describes the band’s plans for the residency, saying:
“…the unprecedented show will offer a rare glimpse into [frontman Zac Brown’s] life like never before – a behind-the-scenes look at the journey that shaped him. From heartbreak and hardship to growth and redemption, the performance will reflect a constant evolution, both as an artist and as a person. This is not just a Zac Brown Band concert; it’s a once-in-a-lifetime experience that blends raw storytelling with the chart-topping hits fans know and love, marking a powerful new chapter for the band.”
Zac Brown Band originally planned to play just four dates at the Sphere: December 5, 6, 12, and 13. But all four of those shows sold out. So the group added two more shows to their residency, with those dates being January 9 and 10.
