Actor Floyd Levine Has Passed Away
Floyd Levine passed away peacefully on August 24, 2025, in Los Angeles, surrounded by his loving family.
Levine’s daughter-in-law, Tracy Robbins, announced his passing on Instagram, writing, “My beloved father in law, Floyd Levine, passed away peacefully yesterday on August 24, surrounded by his beautiful family (and probably wishing someone would bring him a martini). The best father-in-law, grandpa, and all around jokester, Floyd loved Frank Sinatra, classic films, and making everyone laugh.”
Robbins continued, “He started out as a cab driver in New York City before chasing Hollywood dreams in California, building an amazing acting career along the way.”
She noted that she will miss his humor and the stories he told.
“I would like to think there’s a casting call in heaven, and you showed up early, script in hand,” she said, before promising that she will take care of Levine’s “baby boy,” who is her husband, Brian Robbins.
Robbins followed his father’s footsteps into the acting world, but found his rightful place behind the camera as a producer, director, and eventually executive! He is credited as being a co-creator of the hit show All That. He is currently the CEO of Paramount Pictures.
