One of country music’s legendary hitmakers has done it again, and this time – on stage for the 56th annual Academy of Country Music Awards!

Alan Jackson, who was not eligible to receive any nominations this year, joined a delightful group of performers at a variety of iconic and notable venues around Nashville: The Bluebird Cafe, the Grand Ole Opry House, and the Ryman Auditorium.

Some of the performances will be broadcast from other well-known locations like the Station Inn, Bridge Building, and famous downtown thoroughfare: Broadway.

Jackson’s special performance came straight from the heart of country music: the Ryman Auditorium – a building that has stood alongside country music for decades and will continue to stand for decades more.

He sang a very special medley of his beloved classic “Drive (For Daddy Gene)” and gave everyone a taste of his new song “You’ll Always Be My Baby” from his forthcoming album Where Have You Gone (which will be released in May).

Alan Jackson has been one of the steadfast leaders in country music since he made his major-label debut way back in 1990. This performance which is a mix of both old and new only proves that Alan Jackson has that special something that just makes him timeless.
