Willie Nelson Is All Smiles In Christmas Photo With Family

We always love seeing photos of country stars celebrating Christmas with their families. This year, country music legend Willie Nelson spent Christmas with his wife of 31 years, Annie, their two sons, Lukas and Micah, their daughter-in-law (who is married to Micah), and their dogs.

Lukas and Micah both shared the same photo from their family’s Christmas celebration. The picture shows them sitting together in front of the Christmas tree, which was covered in colorful lights and decorations.

89-year-old Willie was all smiles in the picture. He wore a bright green/yellow shirt, which he accented with a buffalo plaid Santa hat.

Micah did not write a caption when he shared the photo on his Instagram page. Lukas wrote a short holiday greeting when he shared the photo, saying, “Happy Holidays Love, The Nelsons.”

December 25 was an extra special day for the Nelson family. It was also Lukas’ 34th birthday!

Lukas has followed in his father’s musical footsteps. He’s a successful singer as well, and is perhaps most well-known for heavily contributing to the soundtrack for the 2018 film A Star is Born.

His fans often comment on how much he sounds like Willie when he sings. You can hear the similarities in their voices when you watch Lukas perform “Silent Night” in the video below. He shared the clip just a few days before Christmas.

We hope the Nelson family had the merriest Christmas this year…and we hope Lukas had the happiest of birthdays!
