Thank you all for your condolences through: letters, Twitter, Facebook, texts and flowers on the loss of my grandson, Ben. Your heartfelt words were comforting through this time of mourning. I have reread so many of your messages for support and inspiration. You have all given me inner strength in this very lonely, diversely chaotic, challenging time.”

Keough was the second eldest of Lisa Marie’s four children. He and his elder sister, 31-year-old actress Riley Keough, were born to Lisa Marie and musician Danny Keough. Lisa Marie also shares 11-year-old twin daughters Harper and Finley with Michael Lockwood.
On Wednesday, July 22, 2020, Priscilla broke her silence and spoke out about how she felt after dealing with such a great tragedy. She posted on her Facebook an emotional and heartfelt statement:
“These are some of the darkest days of my family’s life. The shock of losing Ben has been devastating. Trying to put all the pieces together of all the possible whys has penetrated my soul. Each day I wake up I pray it will get better. Then, I think of my daughter and the pain she is going through as she was a doting mother. Ben’s father, Danny, who is completely lost, as Ben was his only son. Riley, so loving and so close to him; Harper and Finley, who absolutely adored Ben. Navarone, who struggles deeply with loss and death. Rest In Peace Ben, you were loved.”
A music video duet of Lisa Marie Presley with her late father, Elvis Presley, “I Love You Because” resurfaced, and it features Keough. The video is a photographic journey through the Presley family history, from Presley’s famous father, all the way through to the family in 2012 when the video was made.
