Loretta Lynn has a big year ahead of her!

On January 4, Lynn announced her plans to release her 50th studio album on March 19. Titled Still Woman Enough, Lynn describes the album as “a celebration of women.”

Several popular female artists collaborated with Lynn on the record, including Reba McEntire, Carrie Underwood, Tanya Tucker, and Margo Price.

The album was co-produced by Lynn’s daughter, Patsy Lynn Russell, and John Carter Cash.

As a precursor to the album, PBS is releasing a new documentary about Lynn’s life and career. Titled Loretta Lynn: My Story In My Words, the documentary will air on PBS on February 27.

According to Sounds Like Nashville, the film “will feature old and new interviews with Lynn as well as classic performances to tell her story.”

The documentary will cover the trajectory of Lynn’s career, and will touch on some of her most iconic songs such as “You Ain’t Woman Enough” and “Don’t Come Home A Drinkin’.”

This isn’t the first time Lynn has been the subject of a PBS documentary. Back in 2016, PBS honored her in a film titled Loretta Lynn: Still a Mountain Girl, which was part of its American Masters series.

Knowing how well PBS handled Lynn’s life story in Still a Mountain Girl, we can’t wait to see the network’s newest documentary about her on February 27!
