On August 13, Dolly Parton hit us with some of the best news we have heard in a while – she would be releasing a Christmas album!

The country legend announced the album, which is titled A Holly Dolly Christmas, on her social media channels. It is set to be released on October 2nd, 2020, 30 years after her last holiday album: 1990’s Home for Christmas.

In the post announcing the album, Parton revealed a few of the people who will be joining her, including Miley Cyrus, Willie Nelson, Michael Bublé, Jimmy Fallon, and Billy Ray Cyrus.

PEOPLE reports that Fallon will be joining her for “All I Want For Christmas Is You,” but none of the other collaborations have been confirmed. There is one thing we do know, though. The album was recorded during the coronavirus pandemic and because of that, the duets were recorded separately,

“They had done some of the tracks before the pandemic, but then we went in and started doing our vocals,” Parton said. “We’ve been very smart, very careful, because we’re trying to protect ourselves and I’m an older person.”

Another “older” person on the album is Parton’s “old” friend Willie Nelson. She celebrated their “lifelong friendship” and their duet on social media over the weekend with a photo of the two of them from many years ago.

Many fans were quite concerned when they initially saw this post from Parton, thinking it was a tribute to Nelson because he had passed away. They were relieved to find out Parton was just excited for their upcoming duet!

While we wait for their Christmas duet, watch the dynamic duo perform “Everything’s Beautiful (In It’s Own Way),” a song they released on a collaborative compilation album in 1982.
