Dolly Parton Announces New Fragrance Based On Her Signature Scent

Dolly Parton is adding another creative venture to her ever-growing list of business endeavors.
The country icon and Edge Beauty Inc. signed a long-term license agreement to set a Dolly fragrance line into motion. According to WWD, the creation and distribution of the collection are set to launch in spring 2021, and Parton’s signature scent will inspire the fragrance. Dolly said in a statement:
“Fragrance has always played a major role in my life — I wear my own combination of scents every day. Developing my own brand and scent with Edge Beauty has been an amazing experience, and I am looking forward to becoming a big part of the fragrance community.”

The chief executive officer of Edge Beauty, Steve Mormoris, opened up about the partnership with Parton. Mormoris spoke highly of Dolly, and believes that she brings people from all different backgrounds together. Mormoris told WWD:
“We firmly believe that Dolly Parton is at the center of American culture and that she crosses political divides, generations, emotional sensibilities, gender, and we believe she’s the true nucleus of American culture today.”
