Darryl Worley Suffers Devastating Loss

Well-known and beloved traditional country music singer Darryl Worley is mourning the recent death of someone very close to him and we are praying for him and his family during this very difficult time.

Worley, who is known for his early 2000’s hits like “I Miss My Friend” and “Have You Forgotten?” also is a man who has devoted a great deal of his life to charity and hosts an annual event that benefits St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.

Unfortunately, today is a day of deep grief for Worley as he mourns the passing of his beloved mother, Bonnie Bess Jones Worley, after a courageous battle with pancreatic cancer.

Worley, who also started the Darryl Worley Cancer Treatment Center, told Country Aircheck that in lieu of flowers, the family has requested donations be made to the cancer center.

The center was created in 2002 to benefit the people of Hardin County, West Tennessee, and other surrounding areas during their fight with cancer.
