Larry’s Country Diner is a weekly television series filmed in front of a live studio audience in a country diner setting. Regular characters include Larry Black, Keith Bilbrey, Sheriff JimmyCapps, Waitress Renae and Nadine. Special country-singing guests appear every week with the most notable singers being Larry Gatlin, Bill Anderson, Ed Bruce, and Watson.

The “Farewell Party” singer took to Facebook to address his absence from the show.

Just wanted to thank everyone for the concern,” Watson began the Facebook post. “I have some kind of sinus infection but the doctor has me on some medication that’s kicking it so I’ll be fine by Friday as we head to the Opry. Sure hated to miss taping the Diner yesterday. Love all the folks that work there.”

We wish Watson a speedy recovery! Watch him perform “Speak Softly (You’re Talking To My Heart)” on a previous Larry’s Country Diner episode.
